An exciting opportunity has arisen with a traditional, well-respected insurance brokerage based in north Leeds. They have recently undergone some exciting changes which has propelled the business to the next level and gives them a better platform to continue their growth.

They are looking for an SME New Business Account Handler to join their established team and support clients with new enquiries with regards to their business insurance. 

Main duties will include:

  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
  • Dealing with premiums ranging from £500 and exceeding £20,000
  • Dealing with new business enquiries, providing clients with competitive quotes to suit their insurance needs
  • Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
  • Broking risks for new business through open markets
  • Using a selection of online insurer portals to place new business
  • Working closely with the Corporate Broking team

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop further and be part of a growing business with exciting plans for the future . The basic is up to c£32k depending on experience, and comes with a competitive bonus (OTE £36k+), 26 days holiday, pension scheme, hybrid working with up to 3 days from home and full support towards CII qualifications.
