SMART Repairer - We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SMART repair paint technician from either a bodyshop or Accident repair background, to join a leading automotive division for a well-known organisation.

My client has a has a long-established history as a leading car dealer in Leicestershire and has grown to become one of the oldest family-operated motor dealers in the UK and also one of the most respected names in UK motor retailing.

With a strong reputation for outstanding customer service in the local community and a reputation as a leading motor retailer in the wider community.

The successful applicant will need to be qualified with an industry recognised qualification and be able to demonstrate both skills and experience in SMART repair.

The Job: SMART Repair Technician

• Small and medium, and local repairs
• Duties include: scratch repair, dent repair, alloy wheel repair, exterior repair, and bumper repair
• Familiar with a colour-matching scheme
• Must be comfortable blending and fading
• Fill, sand and prep panels ready for paint
• Ability to work using own initiative
• Self-motivated
• Plan and work to tight timescales

Job Experience: The Successful SMART Repair technician will have:

• Bodyshop / Paint and Damage repair experience
• ATA qualification or be a time served technician.
• Experience in a body shop or accident repair environment
