About the role

Mercedes Benz of Swindon currently has a great opportunity available for a SMART Alloy Wheel Technician to join our talented team.
 
As a Sytner Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs on vehicle Alloy wheels . You must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales.
 
We are looking for a passionate Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician to accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels.
 

Key responsibilities
 
Your key responsibilities as a Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician will be:
 
. Remove replace and fitting tyres. Checking tyre tread depths, conditions of tyres and adjusting tyre pressures. Wheel balancing
 
· To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels.
 
· Using & Maintaining our TY30 Lathe machinery in line with manufactures guidelines
 
· Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair i.e.. Distorted wheels not fit for repair
 
· Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures
 
· Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs including powder coating processes

About You
Proven experience as a Alloy Wheel Repair Technician is essential. Experience in a similar Body shop environment is beneficial as we are looking for an individual who has the ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment.
 
We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver highest possible standard of repair with a strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
