24-7 Recruitment are excited to be working with a new client who are looking for a full-time skilled turner to join the team, they have been operating for over 40 years within aerospace, F1, Oil and Gas.

They are masters in EDM: Sink, Fast hole drilling, Wire Erosion, and we also have an extensive machine shop to make there own tooling and jigs.

They have the capabilities and quality standards to produce parts to the clients exact requirements and have very high standards to ensure that the client is happy with the parts they receive.

This is a permanent full time role from day 1.

Job Description of a skilled turner :

• Capable of programming own work
• 1 off batch work
• Experience in small batch work and complex parts
• Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Proficient working to tight deadlines
• Able to work as a team player and using own initiative
• Fast paced environment
• Predominantly using HAAS machinery
• Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work
• Opportunity to train in other areas ie CAD, milling

Shift:

• Monday to Thursday 7.00 - 16.15
• Early Finish Friday! 7.00 - 12.00
• Overtime as and when required
