Skilled Body Technician

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks such as manufacturing, repairing, and replacing vehicle seat upholstery and trim.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and painting of vehicle bodywork components due to routine maintenance or accident damage, including welding and fabrication tasks.

Requirements:

• Ideally possess experience in vehicle body repair, painting, welding, and fabrication.
• Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification.

Job Description: As a Body Technician, your primary responsibilities will involve the manufacturing, repair, and replacement of vehicle seat upholstery and trim. Additionally, you will be involved in the repair, replacement, and painting of vehicle bodywork components, addressing routine maintenance or accident damage. Welding and fabrication tasks will also be part of your role.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our highly experienced trimmer/body technician, learning various aspects of the role. While prior experience in upholstery and sewing machine use, as well as body repairs, is preferable, we are open to candidates without direct experience, as training will be provided.
