Site Supervisor
  • Location: Lancaster
  • Salary: Starting at £12.31 per hour
  • Job Type: Part-time, with some flexibility in hours

We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor for an immediate start at a local primary school in Lancaster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the school premises. 

Day to day of the role:
  • Conducting groundworks and general site maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.
  • Performing regular fire and water safety tests to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Overseeing site safety and addressing any immediate maintenance issues promptly.
  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and organising larger repair projects.
  • Ensuring the school is clean and well-presented at all times.
  • Completing ad-hoc duties as outlined by the headteacher, which may vary according to the school’s needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A clear DBS check is essential.
  • Previous experience in site super vision or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to conduct safety tests.
  • Practical skills for general maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within the school community.
