Freelance Site Manager with MOJ Experience Needed

Are you a Site Manager with a proven track record in delivering successful projects for the Ministry of Justice? We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team on a freelance basis and lead MOJ projects to success.

Position: Freelance Site Manager
Location: East Midlands (multiple locations)
Duration: 4 months +
Rate: £280 a day

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of MOJ construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets
• Lead and manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives
• Coordinate with MOJ representatives, project stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and concerns
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards on-site, adhering to MOJ guidelines and regulations
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Prepare regular progress reports, cost estimates, and other project documentation for MOJ review
• Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and accountability among project team members

Requirements:

• Enhanched Level 1 security clearance ( not essential to apply but willing to go through applicaiton )
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a focus on MOJ construction projects
• Strong understanding of MOJ specifications, standards, and procurement processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications
