Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a proactive, enthusiastic, driven Site Manager to work on a major project for a Tier One Contractor. The role has arisen due to several project wins, as well as internal promotions leading to an absence of Site Managers. As a Site Manager, chosen candidates will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the site team effectively, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor management, quality control, and health and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop and implement strategies for achieving project milestones and goals.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure open communication channels to address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Monitor progress regularly, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation measures to ensure project success.
  • Uphold the company's high standards of professionalism, quality, and safety throughout the project duration.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on major refurbishment projects, ideally within a Tier One contractor environment.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ etc.) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
