Site Manager - Vauxhall

Our client is a market-leading, 5* house-builder who is committed to delivering top-notch, sustainable and high-quality projects. We are looking for an experienced Facade Site Manager, who is available from April to see the works through to Summer 2026.

As a Facade Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of the building envelope on the 140 unit, RC frame site. You will collaborate closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of facade elements within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing facade construction projects and possess strong technical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

   • Lead and coordinate all facade-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Manage and mentor a team of facade engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
   • Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

3. Design Coordination:

   • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to review and optimise facade designs.
   • Provide input on constructability and value engineering to achieve cost-effective solutions.

4. Quality Control:

   • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in facade construction.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues promptly.

5. Cost Management:

   • Monitor and control costs related to facade elements, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

6. Communication:

   • Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders.
   • Provide regular updates to project management on the status of facade works.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facade management on large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of facade systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools.
