Job Title: Site Manager - Restoration
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Company vehicle
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their team. As an established family-run company, their expertise lies in a variety of projects, including building restorations, listed building, and bespoke new build projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating on-site activities, including subcontractors and tradespeople
- Implementing and maintaining health and safety standards
- Managing project schedules and budgets
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Problem-solving and making decisions to ensure project success
- Quality control and ensuring workmanship meets our high standards
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of traditional construction methods, with a background in carpentry or masonry preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
