Site Manager - Refurb Residential

£45,000 to £50,000 plus car allowance

About:
My client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Refurbishment Residential projects.

Duties:
- Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Manage project budgets and control costs
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates
- Collaborate with the design team to review plans and specifications for constructability
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status

Qualifications:
- Holds a Fire Stopping accreditation i.e BMTRADA
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry

- SMSTS and CSCS card
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
