Are you and experienced Site Maintenance Engineer? We are seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Cadishead, Greater Manchester. This is a key role that would involve day to day maintenance duties as well as involvement in development projects and installation of new technologies to solve processing problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair machinery in a timely manner
- Manage the maintenance schedule and ensure work is completed on time
- Work closely with production staff to ensure minimal downtime
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- HNC/NVQ in Engineering
- Proven electrical/mechanical engineering experience
- Experience of working with heavy machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
