As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the water framework project. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project that will have a lasting impact on the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site surveys, set out construction works, and ensure accurate measurements and levels.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of site activities.
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
  • Implement quality control procedures and ensure all work meets the required standards.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety protocols on site to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and the public to address any concerns or requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer in water infrastructure or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
  • Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid UK driving license.
