Site Engineer
Role: Site Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a project on the outskirts of Reading in Berkshire. The Site Engineer will play a key role in the development of various projects as part of a framework covering a large single site in the area.
The Site Engineer will be working on a combination of building and civil engineering projects. Some of of your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting out
- Ensuring that the construction work meets the required quality standards and is line with specifications
- Supervise various members of the site team, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
- Provide solutions for unforeseen challenges on the project, analyse their causes and implement effective solutions
- Maintain a safe working environment across the project
- Work closely with the project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders to address project issues, agree solutions and support the management team with key decisions on the project.
On offer is a generous salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of £35,000 to £43,000
- 25 days annual leave

Site Engineers considering this opportunity will need to have experience in the following areas:
- At least 2 years experience working as a Setting Out Engineer
- Main contracting experience
- A British National
