About the company:

Hunter Mason’s client has been specialising in the planning and development of heritage buildings for over 20 years. They are starting work on a £3M historic house refurbishment and extension project and have identified the need for a new Site Agent. This is an ideal position for someone who is mature, calm, sensible, organised and adaptable as you will be the lead surveyor’s number 2 on site as the surveyor will be based in the head office off site. This is a fixed 2-year contract with the potential for further contracts upon completion.

Project details:

  • Overlooking Historic House Renovation and Extension.
  • Extension consists of a new garden wing and a new orangery.
  • Full internal refurbishment including: plumbing and rewiring
  • Remodelling of bedroom and bathroom
  • Hard metal (copper) roof work
  • Underfloor heating

Experience needed:

  • Should be able to show clear knowledge of historic building work.
  • Stone Masonry experience not required but beneficial.
  • Knowledge of health and safety factors on site.
  • Show the ability to adapt to challenges that you may face.
  • Show the characteristics of a mature, calm, sensible and organised employee.
  • Telescopic forklift driver’s license.
