Job Title: Shift Quality Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Shift pattern: 2 days 7-7, day off, 2 nights 7-7, 3 days off

Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Shift Quality Manager to join their business.

Reporting into the Quality Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Food professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Conduct independent process and product checks according to schedules, taking necessary actions if any deviations are found.
* Audit product and operational processes against customer standards, ensuring adherence to codes of practice.
* Maintain thorough understanding of the site's traceability system for audit purposes and investigations.
* Audit compliance against Quality Management Systems, GMP, and HACCP controls, raising non-conformances with objective evidence.
* Coordinate calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with schedules and procedures.
* Collaborate with the Line Manager to drive day-to-day activities for improvement of Technical KPIs.
* Conduct quality assurance spot checks in production areas to ensure compliance with legal and customer requirements.
* Support the QA function in raw material assessments, sensory assessments, restricted stock reviews, and new product development activities.
* Act as a deputy for the Quality Manager when required.

Requirements:
* Proven track record of a similar role specifically within the food industry
* Experience in supporting with customer audits
* 2-3 years minimum of team management within the food industry
* Flexible to work weekends according to the shift pattern
