Salary - Circa £41k
Shift - 4 on 4 off (days)
Here at Futures, we are delighted to be supporting a leading FMCG Manufacturing company based in the Cumbria area.
Due, to recent growth the business is looking for an established Shift Production Manager to join the production team and oversee the day to day running of the production on shift.
Reporting into the Production Manager, a Shift Production Manager will be responsible for leading and developing your team to ensure KPI’s and efficiency targets are achieved to desired outcomes.
Responsibilities of a Shift Production Manager:
- Proactively reviewing operational trends and performance metrics.
- Putting corrective actions in place to ensure deliver of production plan.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements in your team, whilst ensuring the teams stays motivated to perform to the best of their ability.
- Promoting a safety-first culture and a “do it right the first time” attitude.
- Coaching your team around the importance of Production KPI’s and the importance of achieving set targets.
Successful Shift Production Manager will have:
- Previous Experience leading a team within a FMCG | Food Manufacturing environment.
- A clear vision to be result driven with demonstrable experience of successful meeting KPIs and implementing new processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- “Hands on” managerial approach with the ability to motivate and engage with the team.
- Strong decision-making skills.
