My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is looking for a Shift Manager on their 6am-2pm shift.

Job Description

  • Supervising daily operations of the Manufacturing department.
  • Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to.
  • Implementing efficient processes and standards.
  • Training, guiding and mentoring team members.
  • Managing resources effectively to meet production targets.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align objectives and strategies.
  • Reporting on performance and progress.

A successful Shift Manager should have:

  • Extensive knowledge of industrial/manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • An ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly
  • Promotes company values in every aspect of work.
  • Strong staff engagement
  • Audit awareness with BRC or within food manufacturing

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: From £30,000.00 per year
