Shift Leader

A brilliant opportunity for a Shift Leader to join a well renowned FM service provider on a prestigious commercial site near King's Cross, London. This is a high profile contract, in which you will be working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day shift only (7AM - 7PM). You will receive additional training and the opportunity to progress further internally.

This role includes leading a team of experienced maintenance engineers, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical equipment on site, undergoing PPM and Reactive Maintenance, supervising a team, fill out all relevant paperwork and respond to emergencies.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in Commercial Maintenance, the ambition to progress further in their career, the ability to lead a team and the relevant qualifications (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

Shift Leader Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work

Shift Leader Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Ability to lead a team of maintenance engineers
• Commercial Building Service Maintenance Experience (At least 5 years prior)
• Career driven and ambition to progress further
• Polite and personable
• LV / HV ticket - Desirable
• Apprentice trained - Desirable

Shift Leader Salary and Benefits:

• £50,000 - £55,000
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, (Day shift only)
• 20 days holiday entitlement
