Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced SHEQ Coordinator to work for a small but busy Manufacturing company based in Bradford. The role will suit someone who is wanting to implement new systems into a company and making the role their own.

Day to day duties within the role will include:

-Maintain and improve performance through the implementation of the health, safety, and environmental management systems, including ISO 14001 and other current standards and legislation

-Support the maintenance, coordination and development of the Health, Safety and Environment administration system requirements

-Implement new Quality systems as well as maintaining the current ISO 9001 accreditation

-Improve and update the current SOP’s and Health & Safety risk assessments

-Assist in any other areas of the business where needed

Key skills needed for this role include:

-Must have knowledge and experience of working with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 systems

-Have an interest and understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements and issues in the workplace

-Experience of Textiles or the Textile Industry would be advantageous

-Good IT skills experience in the use of Microsoft Office

-Must be well organised with good written and communication skills

-Ability to manage your own workload and tasks

-Work in a professional manner and be friendly and approachable

-Posses a good eye for detail

The role is based on the Day shift, – 7am to 3pm from Monday to Friday. The role is advertised as Permanent with an initial salary of up to £35k depending on experience.
