A borough based in West London is seeking a Sheltered Housing Manager to support the Housing Management Services team for the wider borough. It would be responsible for the team of agents reporting to them. This is a fantastic opportunity to spearhead and lead one of the most innovative Local Councils in London

Job Purpose:
To guarantee the provision of an enriched housing management service aimed at continuously enhancing the quality of life and satisfaction of older and vulnerable residents. Our goal is to optimize collaboration with key partners and stakeholders, maximizing opportunities for coordination and mutual benefit
Responsibilities and Duties:
Optimize Day-to-Day Operations: Employ efficient day-to-day management strategies to ensure the team consistently delivers and enhances a comprehensive housing management service. This approach aids residents in maintaining their tenancy while facilitating access to essential housing and support services, fostering continual improvement.
Foster Team Engagement: Cultivate an effective team dynamic by providing leadership and setting a personal example. Through this leadership approach, team members become fully engaged, resulting in the delivery of exceptional service standards that exceed expectations.
Implement Comprehensive Monitoring: Establish systematic monitoring and inspection protocols for sheltered housing schemes. This ensures the provision of secure, clean, and well-maintained communal areas and services, enhancing the overall living experience for residents.
Optimize Property Management and Tenant Satisfaction: Streamline the process of handling vacant properties by adhering to required timescales for repairs and lettings. Efficiently managing new customer resettlement minimizes revenue loss and enhances satisfaction among tenants through improved access to local services, thorough health and safety checks, and comprehensive knowledge of facility amenities.
