Our client is a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for corporate jets. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality and safety standards to their clients. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their dynamic team.
Sheet Metal Worker Responsibilities:
Support line managers by performing aircraft structural repair tasks in accordance with provided aircraft repair data.
Install, repair, inspect, and replace sheet metal components on corporate jets.
Heavy structural repair work on corporate jets.
Ensure safe, on-time delivery of structural repairs while adhering to aviation safety guidelines.
Operate various sheet metal tools safely and efficiently.
Complete repair documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to company Health & Safety policies.
Provide detailed documentation of work carried out on aircraft.
Ensure proper storage, calibration, labelling, and recording of calibrated equipment and tooling.
Maintain general housekeeping of shop floor to company standards.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training, or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship.
Must have minimum of 5 years Sheet Metal Experience on live aircraft
Corporate Jet experience desirable
Basic knowledge of materials used in aviation.
Knowledge of technical drawing.
Manual skills and precision, attention to detail.
Willing to work in 5,5,4 days shift pattern
Knowledge of EASA/CAA legislation.
Ability to work under own initiative and make recommendations for improvements.
Right to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction.
Eligible for an airside pass.
Highly motivated, great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
