Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment have a great opportunity for an x2 semi-skilled Sheet Metal Operatives to work for a busy Manufacturing company based near Yeadon, Leeds.

The successful candidate will be required to work across all areas of the Sheet Metal Department which will include Lagging, Paint Plant and General duties. Previous experience is not essential for this role, but it will require someone who is physically fit and quick to learn new tasks. Day to day duties will include:

-Working in the aint Plant

-Loading units into the Machines to Powder Coat/Paint them

-Lagging work on all built units

-Moving stock around the Sheet Metal area

-General/Ad hoc tasks

Key skills required include:

-Experience using Hand Held and Power Tools

-Good hand-eye coordination

-Good attention to detail

-Physically fit and dextrous

-Ability to think on your feet

-Quick Learner

-Not afraid of repeated tasks/jobs

Day shifts are 6am to 2.30pm from Mon to Thurs with an 11.45am finish on a Friday. This is advertised as a Permanent role with an annual salary of £23,983 pa. Overtime will be available during busy periods paid at time + ½ and Double Time.
