gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading manufacturing business in their search for a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder
Performance Objectives

  • MIG & TIG welding on various metal components and structures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding specifications.
  • Setting up welding equipment and selecting appropriate welding techniques based on the project requirements.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal parts using welding techniques.
  • Use of power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding.
  • Following SSOW/SOPS and maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Experience

  • Proficient in MIG/TIG welding techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to Fabricate components accurately according to specifications.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and welding metal.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
  • Apprentice Trained with 5 years + Experience of Sheet Metal Fabrication
