The role:

As a SHE Manager is considered the functional expert and have the primary objective to create, promote and maintain a strong SHE culture across the UKIE & Pest Division. As SHE Manager for the Sales & Services team, you have similar experience in commercial environment and skill to drive results, feel empower to take initiatives and a well rounded communicator to support and ensure the Safety and Wellbeing of our associates, managers and leadership team.

Responsibilities as our SHE Manager:

  • Ensuring the organisation is compliant with UKIE legislation and in line with the overall UKIE strategy for Health and Safety.
  • Managing a suite of health and safety programs for the Sales & Services team of primary the Pest Elimination division and the UKIE teams in accordance with the strategy and UKIE regulatory requirements.
  • Engaging with members of staff at all levels across the site to improve awareness and commitment to Health and Safety issues.
  • Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements, in alignment to long-term strategy
  • Managing a regular audit and inspection programme, assessing Health and Safety performance and identifying any areas of improvement.
  • Ensuring reporting discipline within the Company SH&E compliance systems such as Intelex, Audits, Workplace Assessment, Occupational Health, Emergency Response etc. Uses the data to monitor, report and communicate SH&E performance.
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to manage a positive culture
  • Day-to-day management support of ISO-systems 45001/14001/9001

What we’re looking for in our SHE Manager:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in a similar health and safety role within a commercial setting supporting mainly a Sales and Services team spread across all the UKIE. Ideally Chemical or Pest Control Environment
  • A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
