South Thames College are now looking for Sessional Lecturers in the following subject areas;

Sessional Lecturer - Retrofit

This role will teach on one or more of the following subject areas/qualifications;

  • City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Retrofit (Tuesday, 6pm-9pm)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment (Tuesday & Thursday, 6pm-9pm)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate for Retrofit Advisors (Mondays & Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm)
  • Level 3 Retrofit - Air Source Heat Pumps (Mondays & Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm)

Sessional Lecturer - Installing Solar Photovoltaic Systems

This role will teach on the following subject areas/qualifications;

  • Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems, EAL (Wednesdays 6pm-9pm)

Sessional Lecturer - Design & Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Installations

This role will teach on the following subject areas/qualifications;

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Design and Installation of Domestic and Small Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Installations (Mondays & Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm)

You will deliver outstanding teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum with employer engagement and learner skills development.

We’d like our Sessional Lecturers to be occupationally competent or technically knowledgeable in the chosen subject for which you are delivering training and/or have experience of providing training. This knowledge must be to the same level as the training being delivered. You will have experience of working with adult learners in both formal and informal settings and have experience of assessment for both accredited and non-accredited courses.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
