Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Sessional Lecturer - someone to teach GCSE Computer Science to students aged 16-19 years of age.

You will prepare students for exams, mark in class work, homework and mock exams, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved.

We’re looking for someone who is educated to degree level (or relevant professional qualification) in an appropriate subject and who has excellent teaching skills in Computer Science. You will have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress, and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.

This is a sessional post for 12 hours per week; teaching days and times are to be confirmed.

Please note that this post is funded for the 2024/25 academic year so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2024.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
