Service Technician (Hand Tools)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Service Technician vacancy for our very well known client based in Milton Keynes. Our client is a household name and will be offering this role as a permanent contract after an initial 12 week temporary contract.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

Pay Rate: £12.14 per hour / £23, 700 salary once permanent

The Role:

1. To be responsible for carrying out fault finding, repairs & servicing on company tools and products
2. To follow the company Health & Safety, & Environmental policies
3. To ensure a high level of quality, efficiency and consistency with the repairs & servicing of tools
4. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with all department staff.
5. To assist colleagues with repairs and servicing on Tools.
6. Ensure all repair job information is correctly entered onto the company database
7. Assist with queries regarding workshop/technical issues.
8. Inspect, diagnose, and repair all tools and products in a timely manner.

For this role, we are looking for candidates that have experience with disassembling and reassembling hand tools, an electro mechanical background would also be an advantage.
