Job title: Service Hub Project Manager

Location: South West London

Pay rate: £600 inlcuding holiday pay (inside IR35) per day

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week

Duration: 6 months

Join one of the world's most influential medical research institutes with an outstanding record of achievement dating back more than 100 years. We are seeking a Service Hub Project Manager for their new programme which aims to deliver the Institute's aims of organisational excellence and financial sustainability. As the Service Hub Project Manager you will be critical to the Service Hub workstream which is aiming to design and implement a centralised support area for common services and transactions across the Professional Service directorates and Research divisions.

As the Service Hub Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan including timelines and ensuring efficient resource allocation and successful delivery within challenging deadlines.
  • Assist in translating high level designs into actionable tasks within the project plan
  • Utilise proven project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and adapt to changing needs of the project
  • Lead on identifying interdependencies within the Service Hub project and proactively identifying any obstacles or potential impacts
  • Keep detailed project plan updated, identifying and reporting on key milestones and deliverables
  • Support the recruitment of staff joining the Service Hub
  • Establish, develop and build effective working relationships with Professional Services leadership teams, staff networks, Heads of Division and other key internal contacts.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience in managing end-to-end delivery of a project ideally in an education, research or non-profit organisation
  • Experience of establishing and managing a project management governance structure
  • Experience in setting up a service desk or projects related to service desk improvements
  • PRINCE2 qualification
