My client, based close to Thame, are looking for a Mini Crane Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Mini Crane Service Engineer you will:

  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair of mini cranes and lifting equipment
  • Provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure.
  • Diagnose plant defects
  • Visit sites to repair plant/equipment defects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Engineering experience
  • Be able to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
  • You will also have problem solving ability and be resourceful with high attention to detail.
  • This role could be suitable for an individual with a mechanical background in HGV Vehicles/Forklift Trucks, Plant Machinery or Access Platforms.
  • This role will be field based, but you will be placed on a six-month training program which will be a mix of workshop based work and some field work during this time.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30pm

Salary range is 35 - 45k.

Holiday allowance is 24 days plus bank holidays.
