Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer/Installation Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: Days regular

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Metalis is working with a company based in Sheffield who equipment predominantly for the rail industry. They are looking for a permanent mechanically biased engineer to join their team, as a service & installation engineer.

Job Role:

• To carry out fitting and installation duties on company equipment, both on site and at their workshop.
• Working with a range of mechanical components, specifically to do with material handling equipment.
• Ensure stocks and spares are kept in order within company vehicle.
• Installation on clients sits, more often than not rail depots.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relevant mechanical discipline.
• Flexible to carry out duties of a field service engineer.
• Have previous experience in a service or installation role.

Package:

• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum basic salary.
• Company vehicle.
• Overtime.
• Expenses for overnight stays.
