Service Engineer

Service Engineer required for our client, who are a leading Security Company that specialises in CCTV, Access Controls, Intruder Alarms, Barriers and Alarms.

They are now looking for a service / installation engineer to join their team due to expansion within the business. You will be covering works in and around London, so the ideal candidate will need to be within a commutable distance of the city.

Service Engineer Position Overview

• Maintain and keep all relevant documentation required to carry out all allocated tasks (including but not limited to the following- TAR files, Manuals, maps, parking permits)
• Assist the customer services staff with keeping client appointments (KPI)
• Liaise with the property managing agents regarding keys and access to risers (updating Protean Notes)

Supervisory and managerial responsibilities

• Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager / Service Engineer Team Leader/s relevant quality of service issues, including recommendations (via e-mail). These are to include any cases of poor workmanship, unsuitable staff behaviour and conduct, customer feedback
• Recommendation to Maintenance Engineering Manager of staff training and development requirements (via e-mail)
• Providing Engineers with general guidance of Company expectations

Service Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience in servicing and installing access control, CCTV, security systems
• Paxton 10, Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom (Desired experience)
• Experience in Fire systems (beneficial)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in a similar field.
• Local to London

Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• Circa £40,000
• Van + Fuel Card
• Holiday Pay
• Pension
