Success Recruit are currently working with a dynamic construction company based in Central Essex, who are looking to recruit a Service Desk Manager that will oversee the efficient management of the service team ensuring policies, processes and reporting is in line with business performance, management, and expectations.

The successful Service Desk Manager will have excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrating the ability to work within a busy open plan team environment alongside senior management. The ability to multitask confidently and have proven experience leading a team of people with focus on exceeding expectations for customers is highly desirable.

The successful Service Desk Manager will be expected to:
• Have strong business acumen and demonstrate this daily within the business
• Strong IT / system awareness and confident creating analytical reports
• Review processes / procedures and can add value to save time and focus on achieving results related to time and profits

Job Description
The purpose of the Service Desk Manager will be to support senior management and the service team of 7 direct reports. It is a varied position where good communication skills are essential to build trust throughout the service chain as well as lead a team effectively.

Duties to include but not limited to:
• Ensure sites are managed professionally by the team and customer service is exceeding expectations long term
• Review & prepare weekly & monthly performance reports reflecting targets, margins etc
• Work closely with the Field Operations Manager
• Manage queries & complaints related to client sites
• Prepare short and long term business forecasting
• Review and improve processes and procedures where it will add value to the business
• Ensure ERP / CRM is constantly updated with progress of works and any other updates
• Perform one to ones with the team to ensure a supportive and collaborative work place
• Training & development of the team

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys reviewing data through systems and process efficiency and can be disciplined making decisions within the position to support growth. This position will suit someone who also enjoys identifying problems and working closely with management to suggest improvements.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4.30PM
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
