Service Delivery Manager – £45-50,000 +Bonus+Benefits – South East London

My client are a London-based IT company, delivering consultancy and managed services to clients throughout the UK. To support their continued growth, we’re looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our close-knit team and help provide an ‘above and beyond’ service to our clients.

As our new Service Delivery Manager you will lead a small Service Desk of 4 and will be the link between the business and our customers

On a daily basis the Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensure proactive handling of all incidents, ensuring that SLAs are met.
  • Continually maintain a consistently high level of SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with the internal Professional Services team to ensure consultancy tasks built into the contract align with SLAs.
  • Manage the IT Service Management system, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities to collaborate with prospective clients on defining SLAs, KPIs, and metrics for service delivery improvement.
  • Being responsible for the successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations from clients, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business impact.
  • Lead a team of young, enthusiastic IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, addressing IT service needs and concerns.
  • Produce and present standard reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual Service Reviews.

To be considered for this role as Service Delivery Manager you should be able to demonstrate industry experience in a similar size company. We are not looking for someone from a huge corporation but someone who has managed relationships with 10-20 customers and can help to grow the business. While not a technical hands-on role you should have a good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and security concepts.
