Service Coordinator

The company

A leading engineering company, with an annual group turnover of over £20 million, who specialise in the design and manufacture of material handling solutions for wastewater. They have been the market leader in wastewater systems, grit capture and conveyor systems for over 40 years and have offices located all around the world. Due to a rapid growth and expansion, the company are now seeking a Service Coordinator to join the team at their Banbury site.

The role

Now looking for a driven Service Coordinator to oversee various projects, ensuring seamless coordination between departments to guarantee the smooth delivery and installation of client orders. They will report into the General Manager. The hours for the role are 8:30-4:30pm Monday-Friday, with potential for agile working on Fridays.

You will take responsibility for:

• Coordinating with the sales team to understand client requirements
• Managing the calendars of on-site workers, to ensure efficient working timetables
• Planning jobs to client specifications, ensuring all parts and equipment needed, such as cranes & forklifts, are on-site for installation day
• Ensuring all paperwork and permits (e.g risk assessments & hot work permits) are completed on portals prior to site installation
• Overseeing 1-10 projects at any time, up to the value of £300K

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Proven working experience as a Service Coordinator
• Need to have a technical background
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience within the wastewater industry
