As a Service Co-ordinator, you'll play a crucial role in assisting policyholders who have experienced losses due to car incidents.

Here's what you'll be doing as the Service Co-ordinator:

  • Manage Repair Journeys: From instruction to payment, you'll ensure each stage is monitored to prevent delays.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, providing prompt assistance.
  • Prompt Payments: Ensure timely payments to repairers and negotiate costs effectively.
  • Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and ensure smooth communication.
  • Resolve Complaints: Aim for first-time resolution of any issues, compiling necessary documentation.

Key Skills Required for the Service Co-ordinator:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Customer Service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tact and assertiveness in dealing with repairers/storage facilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong empathy, tact, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and use initiative.
  • Proficiency in PC and administrative skills.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of motor vehicle construction and repair techniques is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of insurance principles and computerized estimating systems (e.g., Audatex) is a plus.
