Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a well trusted, Midlands based social housing provider, in order to recruit a Service Charges Team Leader on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Charge expert to lead and manage the team, as well as ensure accurate service charge bills are calculated for customers.

Role:
As a Service Charge Team Leader you will be responsible for a small team in the setting of service charges


Duties will include;

  • Assessing costs from services provided to customers.
  • Assisting the team in budget monitoring costs at cost centre level
  • Leading the team in recovering costs and calculating annual service charge bills
  • Maintaining the service charge module
  • Reviewing procedures and streamline current procedures
  • Manage, co-ordinate and monitor the work flows within the team, allocating responsibilities to team members and reporting Performance Indicators on the team’s outputs.

Person:

The successful candidate:

  • Ability to use and develop integrated computer systems
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff
  • Knowledge of housing associations
  • Experience of service charges
  • Experience of staff supervision
