Our client is a well established and respected company working within the Property Sector, based in central Gravesend. They currently have a need for a Service Charge Accountant.

Previous experience in the preparation of statutory and service charge accounts is essential. Knowledge of ARMA and RICS regulations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Good knowledge of ARMA and RICS regulations
  • Experience of client accounting software (TRAMPS) is desirable
  • Experience of client accounting software (APB) would be an advantage
  • High level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a methodical and organised approach
  • Able to effectively prioritise and multi-task
  • Excellent people and communication skills at all levels
  • Dependable and flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proactive and able to take responsibility for own work and assist others
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

  • To prepare statutory and service charge accounts for residential & commercial properties
  • To upload service charge budgets based on agreed apportionments and totals
  • To liaise with external auditors as part of the audit process from start to finish
  • To raise service charge invoices to tenants based on uploaded budgets

Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30pm
