Role Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Service Charge Accountant to manage financial operations for residential and commercial properties. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and legal compliance of managed properties.

Servie Charge Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the finance manager on period end acocunting
• Develop and oversee service charge budgets for residential blocks.
• Issue timely ground rent and service charge invoices.
• Pursue credit control measures and maintain low arrears levels.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Address leaseholder account queries via email and phone with precision and care.
• Negotiate and secure utility contracts for managed properties.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior finance experience is essential with servioce charge or property fionance experience highly advantageous
• Confidnet using Excel
• Exhibits strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Maintains exceptional attention to detail and organisational prowess.
