About our client: Our client, a pioneering company at the forefront of automation. We are seeking a skilled Service and Installation Engineer to contribute to their dynamic and innovative projects. If you have a passion for programming, coupled with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, we want to hear from you.

Job Overview: As a Service and Installation Engineer, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation and ongoing support of our cutting-edge systems. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in programming PLCs/HMIs, coupled with a solid background in electrical and mechanical engineering. Additionally, candidates should have industry experience in the diagnostic, testing, and repair of electronics and mechanical components.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of our advanced automation systems.
  • Travelling to where the business needs are required.
  • Program and configure PLCs/HMIs to meet project specifications.
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support to clients during installations and service calls.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to service and installation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Desired experience in programming PLCs/HMIs.
  • Relevant training and qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Industry experience in diagnosing, testing, and repairing electronics and mechanical systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with automation would be desirable. 
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
