Salary - Competitive depending on experience

Permanent - Monday to Friday, 3 pm finish on a Friday, 37.5hrs per week

Responsibilities for the role of SEO & PPC Lead

  • Define and implement on-page SEO best practices, ensuring website content is optimised for user experience and search engine visibility
  • Define technical SEO best practices and identify areas for improvements including site speed and mobile responsiveness. Work with the engineering team to roll out enhancements
  • Monitor and track then analyse, and report on data to measure SEO effectiveness
  • Carry out keyword research to identify opportunities to optimise existing content
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm changes and SEO industry trends
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team of developers, product managers, product marketers, and designers to ensure the successful implementation of SEO strategies
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day optimisation and management of all Google Ads campaigns to deliver on KPIs and improve return on investment for our range of brands.
  • Nurture and grow new opportunities within the PPC environment and present ways in which we can apply to our brands
  • Coordinate reporting and performance analysis of all activities to make recommendations and optimise ROI
  • Work with European and US E-Commerce Executives on non-UK campaigns
  • Support the wider Online Team on an ad-hoc basis to cover absences or workloads in peak periods.

Person Specification for the role of SEO & PPC Lead

  • Must have several years of experience in SEO & PPC, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully enhancing organic search and PPC performance.
  • Essential the candidate has robust analytical skills and familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush (or similar).
  • Must have extensive proficiency in Google Ads - you will be the company’s primary Google Ads specialist, showcasing unparalleled knowledge of Google Ads.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have experience in collaborating with and managing relationships with third-party agencies.
  • Must show a solid competency in Google Analytics and Excel, enabling the reporting of monthly campaign performance and the provision of actionable recommendations and insights.
  • Essential the candidate is self-motivated with strong organisational skills and effective time management.
  • Must hold a strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written are required for this role
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and commercial requirements.
  • Creative mindset with the capability to introduce innovative ideas to the role.
  • Must be results-orientated and self-driven to lead and succeed.
