SEO Executive

Due to further continued growth in 2024, we have a new and exciting position available for another SEO Executive to join our award winning and diverse team based at our offices in Blackpool.

Our expertise encompasses social media marketing, paid media strategies, SEO, content marketing, as well as WordPress web design and development. As our new SEO executive, you will be responsible for creating compelling, high-quality content optimised for search engines to drive organic traffic for a wide range of industries.

We are currently partnered with META (Agency Partner), Google, Nominet (Accredited Partner), Lancashire Council and Lancashire Skills Hub to name a few!

Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Develop and execute content strategies that align with various brands and target audiences.
• Create engaging and informative content, including, blog posts, localised SEO and website copy.
• Conduct keyword research and analyse SEO data to optimise content for search engines.
• Weekly checks on the fluctuation of keywords and current ranking positions and update / improve as required.
• Carry out onsite and offsite technical SEO.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO and content marketing.

Key Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an SEO & content creator
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in content management systems and SEO tools such as SE Ranking, WordPress, Yoast, Analytics and Search Console
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• WordPress experience
• On-site / Off-site Technical SEO experience.

• A passion for SEO, digital marketing and learning
• Relevant experience with digital marketing, ideally in SEO
• Understanding of the key elements of SEO
• Fantastic copywriting skills
• Able to identify key technical issues with a website
• Able to use Google Analytics and Search Console (or equivalent)
• Able to manage own time
• Comfortable working independently or within a team
• A proactive, positive attitude
