Position Overview:

They are seeking a talented SEO Account Manager to join the team. The SEO Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, working closely with the SEO and client services teams to develop and execute effective SEO strategies, and serving as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and providing exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to develop and implement customised SEO strategies tailored to each client's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to review performance, discuss strategy, and provide updates on SEO initiatives.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Analyse SEO performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of SEO strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO to ensure that clients receive cutting-edge strategies and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to clients, showcasing campaign performance and ROI.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a digital marketing client services position (in-house or agency side), with a strong understanding of SEO principles and strategies.
  • Excellent client liaison skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience/Exposure to SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
