Reed is actively recruiting on behalf of an established business for a permanent Warehouse Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to for a position / business where they can grow & progress. Previous experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment is essential. 

As a Senior Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for:

• The receiving of goods into and the dispatching of goods out of the company.
• The checking of finished goods stock and consignment stock to ensure that they accurately reflect the company’s stock records.
• Maintain the correct level of consumable stock.
• Placing accurate and timely stock purchase orders.
• The organisation and general tidiness of the warehouse area.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept in a safe and operational state at all times.
• Safe use of the forklift within the warehouse and loading area.
• Ensure any apprentices or temporary workers are supervised adequality and working to our safe systems of work.
• Liaison with the company’s suppliers, customers and end users on logistical matters.
• Ensure all purchase orders with their line items are delivered in correctly at the correct time.
• Arrange stock transfers of all items between the different stock location.
• Assist with monthly stock checks and annual audit.
