Our client are an established UK & European Logistics Solutions Provider, who due to expansion have an exciting new opportunity available for a Senior Warehouse Ops professional, there will be the opportunity to progress quickly in this role to a supervisor.
The successful Senior Warehouse Ops person will be coordinating and eventually leading a team of 5.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Previous Freight/Logistics/Shipping knowledge is essential
- "Hands on" warehousing experience inc. forklift (refresher training is available).
- Managing inbound flows
- Responsible for and monitoring warehouse capacity
- Health & Safety Compliance Awareness
- Able to work as part of a team and lead/co-ordinate warehouse ops team of 5.
- Working closely with Transport
- Dealing with general cargo, "white glove" traffic, installations, technical logistics, bespoke logistics
- Car Driver with own Transport for commuting to work
Hours of work; Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Salary £33-35k
