Position: Senior Utilities Surveyor

Location: North of London

Salary: 30,000-40,000 dependent on qualifications

Hours: Full-time

Role:

  • Conducting Utility mapping/PAS128 surveys across diverse industries and locations.
  • Identifying utility pipes and cables for verification, validation, and excavation.
  • Gathering data to produce mapping information of underground and overhead distribution and supply services.
  • Liaising with clients on-site to determine survey requirements and best approaches.
  • Conducting clearance surveys for intrusive excavation works.

How You'll Contribute:

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent teamwork, hard work, politeness, and enthusiasm. They should be willing to work away occasionally, undertake overtime, night shifts, and weekends as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Level 3-5 qualification in utility mapping.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility tracing and GPR.
  • Experience in various environments and on complex surveys.
  • Working knowledge/understanding of PAS 128:2014 specification surveys.
  • Competency in using CAD Software.
  • Experience in using total stations and GPS equipment to collect site information.

Salary:

  • For a level 3 qualification in utility mapping surveying: £30,000 - £35,000 per year.
  • For a level 5 qualification in utility mapping surveying: £35,000 - £40,000 per year.
