Attention Senior Transport Planners!

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a driven Transport planner to join an independent Transport Planning Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis outside IR35.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work on exciting Residential and Rail projects whilst working remotely!

Our client is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to lead and manage transportation planning projects whilst providing technical expertise and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report writing, including evidence for inquiries
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Conduct transportation studies to support Infrastructure planning
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies
  • Prepare presentations for clients and project stakeholders
  • Attend project and client meetings when required
  • Develop innovative transportation solutions that address current needs

Key Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills, including the preparation of Trip Generation and Distribution spreadsheets
  • Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG and TRANSYT
  • A degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering or a similar field
  • Fully licensed
  • Prior experience working in Transportation Planning
  • Knowledge of Transportation planning principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of delivering Transportation planning projects on time
