With over 6000 applications a year and a management team that actively promotes career progression, working within Ealing will involve you in a huge variety of applications of all sizes.

Your new role
You will work as a Senior Planning Officer with a complex caseload including a mix of Major and Minor projects. As an essential part of a high performing Development Management team your focus will be on results, you will need a good understanding of the planning system and a willingness to learn. You will be required to effectively manage caseload of planning applications and appeals, meeting relevant deadlines and statutory requirements

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have previous public or private sector planning experience demonstrating good experience and knowledge of the development management process within the local government setting. The post holder should have A Diploma or Degree in Town & Country Planning, or equivalent discipline (such as geography, construction, architecture or design) at graduate or post graduate level; and be a member (or be eligible for membership) of the RTPI.
