Senior Technical MSP Engineer - Derby - £55K

My client, an MSP based in Derbyshire are looking for a Senior Technical MSP Engineer to join their technical team on a hybrid basis.

You will be an integral part of the team acting as the tech lead heading up a team of 7 engineers. A full UK driving license is required as you will be travelling to client sites at least once a week.

In the role you would be supporting their clients across the East Midlands on a range of issues including Windows Server, Exchange Servers, Active Directory, Hyper-V, VMware, Windows OS, Office 365, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VLANs, Remote Desktop Tools, Network Structuring, Migrations, and Implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Project planning and management
• Supporting a client base across the East Midlands on a range of IT Support issues
• Escalation point for 1st and 2nd line
• Identifying potential client vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Migrations from on-prem to cloud
• Hands on server administration
• Network structuring

Skills required:

• MSP experience is vital
• Windows OS
• Office 365
• Windows server up to version 2019
• Remote Desktop Tools
• Firewalls
• Microsoft Azure
• Hyper-V & VMware
• Microsoft Exchange
• Backup Technologies
• CyberEssentials
