Senior Tax Manager
My client, a FTSE-100 Manufacturing Company are looking to hire a Senior Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager to join their collaborative team. This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the most respected and well-established tax functions in the UK. This role has come about due to the rapid growth globally and the successful will play a pivotal role in the tax team and wider finance function.
As the Senior Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimising their tax reporting processes and leveraging data analytics to drive strategic insights. You will have the chance to lead a talented team and collaborate with the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Tax to develop and implement tax strategies that ensure compliance and optimise tax efficiency.
- Manage the outsourced day-to-day tax compliance and reporting functions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest international tax regulations, specifically BEPS and Pillar 2, and assess their impact on the company's tax position.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government authorities, auditors, and advisors.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ADIT qualified with Big 4/Top Tier training
- Experience working in-house in a large multi-national preferred
- An outstanding communicator, confident in liaising closely with a variety of teams and individuals
- Proven experience in leading and managing tax projects
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A good understanding of current and future tax legislation
